Ben Cikanek is a playwright, and a founding member and co-Artistic Director of Kids with Guns, a New York theater company. Cikanek authored the Kids’ productions of The Night Carter was Bad (2008) and Conference Room A (2005). He is an alumnus of Northern Illinois University and Improv Olympic in Chicago. In his free time, he enjoys listening to jazz, watching Woody Allen movies, and facilitating strategic workshops for big companies. Mike Klar is a co-Artistic Director of Kids with Guns, a theater company he founded with collaborator Ben Cikanek in 2005. In 2008 he directed “The Night Carter was Bad“, in ‘07 he directed “An Octopus Love Story” and in ‘05,  “Conference Room A“. Mike and Ben have been producing theater in NYC since 2003 including the 2006 Fringe Festival and Fringe Encore Series productions of “The Blue Martini”. Mike has a BFA from the University of Delaware in Visual Communications.
